PowerWorks MERCURY P10.2 Active 2.1 PA System

So I just brought a this system to hire out for DIY Karaoke/DJ/presentations etc and wasn't expecting much, BUT it far exceeded my expectations. Great controls on the back of the sub, Bluetooth is great as is all the other connections. Mic pre's are good along with the FX. And... the best thing it has a great sound with crisp highs and surprisingly good bottom end, and not to mention it's got a pretty substantial volume. Look, it's not as good as say an Evo or Bose, but it's less than half the price. I could imagine it would also be great for solos and duo's as well. For under $1100 with some stands, it comes highly recommended from your truly. 10/10

SWAMP 6 Channel Mixing Desk - 4 Mic Preamps - Graphic EQ - Bluetooth

I bought a Swamp 6 channel desk in 2020 and have used it both in my home studio and in my live set-up ever since. I have travelled the world with it, playing hundreds of shows in all kinds of different conditions and have never had a single problem with it. I have definitely run this way harder than it was ever designed to go. Now, in early 2025 after thrashing it for 5 years straight, it is finally stating to show some signs of the abuse I have hurled at it - specifically the mic preamps are not everything they once were. So I have bought another one the same. I will try to get the original repaired but if it can't be done then I am happy with its service and it will be buried with the dignity it deserves.

Empress Effects Bass Compressor Effects Pedal - Blue

Just got the Empress Bass Compressor and impressed with the build quality. Easy to use and up and running in a couple of minutes. The visual meter is handy and one of the reasons I chose this unit over others. Now to play around for the perfect setting! After lots of research, this pedal is the most compact and practical side chain compressor for my Live Looping rig.

Enya X3 Pro Carbon Fibre Acoustic Electric Guitar

I am impressed with the guitar, found the weight a bit heavier than my timber dreadnoughts, nothing too concerning. I did make adjustments to the saddle to lower the action for my preference. The thing that impresses me is that it stays tuned even with temperature changes. The sound is on the bright side with plenty of volume and the effects add some interest which is great. I purchased this to allow me to leave it in the car and not worry about the heat destroying it. The construction of the guitar is solid and I believe it would take plenty of punishment. I would recommend this guitar.

SWAMP DIY Build Your Own Electric Guitar Kit - Les Paul Style

My first ever kit build. All components fit nicely. I followed through the instructions without difficulty until getting to the wiring part. I reached out for support and was provided with an extremely helpful video tutorial to help finish the project. I wouldn’t have completed it with the included wiring schematic. I believe that the video should be included with the instructions. If you have any difficulty email support and ask for that video.

SWAMP DIY Build Your Own Electric Guitar Kit - Explorer Style

This is a great sounding guitar and well made for the price. 100% happy with this product. Wiring had me confused for a while as the Tone P1 needed another earth wire on it that didn't come with. Follow diagram exactly. There are redundant earth's at the switch end. Just leave 2 off. This guitar was for my son for Christmas. He loves it and enjoyed the fact we put it together. Might buy a different one now for myself and take a bit more time with the paint and seal phases. Thanks.

Artist AT91V2 TC Style Electric Guitar with Single-Coil Twangler Pickups

Love this beast. It has that real 'twangy' sound and cut of the real thing. The finish is perfect with a great neck. Only criticism is the string spacing slots at the nut are a little close but other wise great. The sound and feel is just what I wanted for Country and Blues/Rock. I have another brand Tele copy but it's just not in the same class as the Artist AT91V2. Highly recommended!!

Alctron MK47 Professional Tube Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone

Large diaphragm tube microphone which emulates the famous Neumann U 47. Adjustable pattern. Exceptionally clear sound and great response across the frequency spectrum. Tremendous value for money - I would challenge anyone to differentiate the sound of this mic - in a mix - from the Neumann mic.

SWAMP 1U 19" Rack Mount Sliding Shelf

This rack shelf is really solid. I was somewhat surprised - based on the price - that the box was so heavy when I picked it up from the shopfront. The contents did not disappoint! I'm just using the front mounts atm but will modify my rack to provide rear support as part of my next upgrade. I have a couple of small un-rack mountable amps sitting on the shelf, the slide let me get to the rear terminals without any pain :)

Soundking SKD310 Electronic Drum Kit

This drum kit is cheap and there is a reason for it, that said it has a couple of really nice features. 1. You will have to edit every single pad’s trigger settings. From the factory all the settings are incorrect and everything is not set up how it should be. Navigate to trigger settings and calibrate everything to YOUR drumming style. Make sure you include EVERY single pad, this includes CHOCKING! And TOM ZONES! 2. The High hat settings. You need to make sure you setup the pads on the stand exactly as pictured, you will then navigate to trigger settings HH Calibration follow the instructions. After the this step you need to change the high hat from type 1 to type 2. This is NOT SPECIFIED IN THE MANUAL. Otherwise it will not trigger correctly at ALL! 3. After a long long long setup process you will realise that the kits included in the module sound terrible, but that’s OK! You can now start tuning kits or in my case, kit. You have heaps of stuff to do in these settings and can get a half decent sound with a lot of work. The good stuff: 1. Trigger sensitivity is awesome. Once dialled in 2. The cymbals are the same as any other “b” grade manufacturer. Soundking brought carlsbro and those companies build stuff for other companies. 3. Luckily the user interface on the module is very easy to use and straightforward with most settings available. 4. the rack is not that bad. I added a complete Yamaha dtx450k rack to it as well and several cymbals and Tom’s and an extra snare. Conclusion: It’s a 650$ drum kit that won’t end in divorce or raging neighbours. Setup is looooong, but if you are persistent you can squeeze a decent drum kit out of it. I would highly recommend that you watch some YouTube on electric drums to make sure you have a full scope of knowledge diving into electronic drums, if you are an experienced drummer but money is a problem (when isn’t it) you can squeeze a kit out of this. It doesn’t integrate with EZDrummer2 very well at all but you can assign midi notes to pads, oh gee more setup. With that be prepared to work and massage this kit to your style, sure every eKit is the same but ultimately you are paying for refinement with more expensive kits. A little work you can get a decent kit. Overall I’m happy with it. I can’t wait to hang my custom snare and Tom’s of this rack lol. I purchased an ICM dual wireless microphone system for a community singalong event for which I was tasked with doing the live sound in April 2022. The guys at swamp industries are amazing! Was accidentally sent a faulty item, which is extremely rare judging by the reviews of the item and the guys over email. In a time when customer service can be frustrating, infuriating or just nonexistent I was thrilled that a phone call was actually answered by a real human being! Not only that, but they were very helpful, very patient, very knowledgeable, polite and they went out of their way to help me. I changed my mind about the colour of the guitar so I called back. No problem, easily fixed (no sighing or impatience). On top of that my parcels arrived in Melbourne from Sydney 2 days later. They took the stress and hassle out of buying online. Thank you. I can thoroughly recommend doing business with Swamp Industries. Recently ordered a Cymbal stand which arrived promptly but there was a fault with one of the tubes. Contacted Swamp about issue and was put at ease with positive information on how to return the item and they would send out a replacement saspo. Replacement Stand arrived just a few days later . Completely satisfied with their friendly and prompt service.
